It's like an old friend

I have read this book many times, It's like an old friend . My 9 year old daughter just finished reading the diary of Ann frank and loved it, so I thought she should give this a try and she loved it. Even though it was set in the 1800's ,the family dynamics are relatable. She gets quite a kick out of a young dramatic Katie.

Beautiful Story that every Girl should read!

Bought this book for a young girl in our church who was needing some encouragement in her Faith. Stepping Heavenward is a beautiful story, written as a journal, following the life of a girl from the 1830's. I liked that it had questions at the back to help young readers think more deeply about the content.
